Roofing direct mail with JobNimbus
Storm, retail, or restoration: every card shows the homeowner their own house with the new roof on it, and lands before the storm chasers knock. Triggered from JobNimbus: when a roof is completed or a deal is won, the nearest homes get a card on their own.
BEFORE
AFTERRoofing direct mail that runs off JobNimbus
Mailr connects to JobNimbus and turns the jobs you already track into roofing postcards. When a roof is completed or a deal is won in JobNimbus, Mailr mails the 25 to 50 nearest roofs, plus the storm-hit neighborhoods you circle on the map. Each card is a Home Render: their own house with the new roof already on it, with a QR code unique to that house.
Nothing changes about how you run JobNimbus. Jobs flow in the way they always have; the mail fires on its own, and the leads it generates land back in JobNimbus as records you can work.
How it connects to JobNimbus
- 01
Connect JobNimbus
Paste an API key from JobNimbus → Settings → API — validated live against your account before it saves, so a typo can't half-connect.
- 02
Pick the trigger
Choose the JobNimbus event that means a new roof went on: Job reaches a status (any workflow), Estimate approved. Filter it if you want (only Completed jobs over $15k in the Roofing workflow).
- 03
Set the radius and the card
Choose how many nearby homes to mail and which roofing template to start from, in your brand. Approve once. JobNimbus has no outbound webhooks, so Mailr sweeps your account every hour and fires anything new. Every event is deduped, so a re-sweep can never double-mail.
What JobNimbus gets back
Leads, written in
Landing-page leads are created as JobNimbus contacts at capture time — in the workflow and status you pick, “Mailr” as the lead source, the details as a note, deduped by email. Every lead deep-links straight to the contact in JobNimbus.
Sold customers, removed
The moment an estimate is approved in JobNimbus, that customer is removed from future mailing audiences. You never pay to advertise to someone you already closed.
Reactivation
Mailr imports your past jobs and contacts from JobNimbus — by workflow and status, or since a date — then mails the nearest neighbors of every one. The contacts source remails your whole book, not just addresses with a finished job.
Why roofing mail should be triggered, not scheduled
The best time to mail a roof is the week the neighbors watched you do one. A truck in the driveway, a crew on the roofline, and then a card in the mailbox showing their own house with the new roof already on it: that sequence is what a trigger from JobNimbus buys you, on every job, without anyone remembering to send it.
Scheduled mail still has its place, especially in storm season, when a hail or wind event puts every roof on the street in play at once. Draw the area on the map, filter the homes by assessed value, year built, or square footage, and mail it, with a free inspection or a claim-support offer on the card. Both kinds of campaign report scans, calls, and closed revenue back against the JobNimbus records they produced.
Roofing and JobNimbus: common questions
Do I need a developer to connect JobNimbus to Mailr?
An API key from JobNimbus → Settings → API. Mailr checks it against your account before saving, then a 3-step confirm wizard shows real field samples from your own jobs.
Which JobNimbus events can trigger roofing mail?
Job reaches a status (any workflow), Estimate approved. Each one can be filtered on the fields JobNimbus already carries, so you can mail only the jobs worth advertising.
How fast does a card go out after a roof is completed or a deal is won?
JobNimbus has no outbound webhooks, so Mailr sweeps your account every hour and fires anything new. Every event is deduped, so a re-sweep can never double-mail. Cards print the next business day after the trigger fires.
What does the homeowner see when they scan the card?
A landing page built for their address: their own house with the new roof already on it, your reviews and license, and a short form. The submission lands in JobNimbus immediately, source-labeled Mailr, and the scan is logged against the campaign.
Does Mailr keep mailing a home after JobNimbus shows them as a customer?
No. The moment an estimate is approved in JobNimbus, that customer is removed from future mailing audiences. You never pay to advertise to someone you already closed.
What does roofing direct mail cost through Mailr?
You pay per card, with no subscription. Home Render postcards run $1.35 down to $1.05 per card with monthly volume, and Classic postcards $1.20 down to $0.90, with printing, postage, the landing page, and tracking included.
