Their eaves, lit. Before they've ever heard of permanent lighting.

Most homeowners don't know the product exists until they see it on a neighbor's house. Mailr shows it to them on their own roofline, at dusk, in the pattern you'd actually install.

HOW A RENDER HAPPENS

Three steps between a street and a mailbox.

  1. 01

    An image of their home

Multiple angles of each home from publicly available imagery. We select the clearest front-of-house shot.

  2. 02

    Their eaves at dusk

Daylight turns to dusk and the lights go on: every soffit, gable, and garage roofline, in the pattern you sell.

  3. 03

    Into their mailbox

Printed and mailed with a QR code unique to that house, which opens a page with their own rendering on it and a free-quote form.

RENDER STYLES

One house throughout. Red and White is a real install, photographed the night it went on; Warm White and Christmas are rendered onto that same house from its daytime photo.

THE ARTIFACT

The founder's own card, in real mailboxes.

Mailr was built for Mountainside Lights first, and this is the address side of the card that company mails. On a Home Render campaign the photo becomes the recipient's own roofline, and the QR code is unique to that house.

  • Their own house on the front
  • A QR unique to that home
  • Printing, postage, and delivery included

BUILT FOR THE TRADE

Built for how lighting sells.

Every install is a demo for the whole street. Mailr mails the homes that watched the lights come on, and tracks which of them called.

CLASSIC POSTCARDS

Classic fronts, on the founder's own brand.

When the photo should be a house you actually lit, run a Classic card: one fixed front on every card, the per-home QR on the back. These three were built on Mountainside's brand kit from the library's handwritten-note, neighbors-say, and ask-your-neighbors templates. Classic Postcards

Drake Miller

“Most of that growth came from the houses around every job we finished. Neighbors watched the crew work, saw the lights come on, and wanted the same thing.”

Native connections: an OAuth popup or an API key, then triggers, lead delivery, and revenue sync run on their own. All twelve integrations

QUESTIONS

The questions permanent lighting shops ask.

Which patterns can be rendered?
Warm White, Christmas, and Red and White today, with more colour patterns on request. Pick the pattern when you build the campaign and every card in it follows.
The imagery is daytime. Does the render still work?
Yes. The render turns the daytime image to dusk and lights every soffit, gable, and garage roofline, the way you'd actually install it, so the homeowner sees the product the only way it makes sense: on, at night, on their house.
Why is a lighting company's card on this page?
Mailr was built by Drake Miller for Mountainside Lights, his Calgary permanent-lighting company, which grew to seven figures in just over two years on more than 500 installs. Most of that growth came from the houses around every job, and Mailr is the tool he wanted for reaching them.
Can I mail a photo of an install I actually did?
Yes. A Classic campaign puts one fixed front on every card, so the photo can be a house you lit, and the per-home QR, targeting, triggers, and follow-up stay the same. Home Render puts the recipient's own roofline on the front instead; both card types run side by side.
How many neighbors does a finished install mail?
Fifty by default, anywhere from ten to five hundred, drawn around the install address and narrowed by the same property filters as any campaign. The install address itself is never mailed, and a won deal adds that customer to your suppression list.
Which CRMs do lighting shops connect?
JobNimbus, Housecall Pro, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, and Service Fusion natively, plus the rest of the twelve. Connection is an OAuth popup or an API key. No CRM? A CSV of past installs works too.
